Cultural goods catalogue
An ambitious
and necesary project

As part of the Nostra et Mundi cultural project promoted by the Castilla y León Foundation, a catalogue is being compiled of works of art and various cultural goods that formed part of the cultural legacy of Castile and Leon and which, with the passing of time and due to various circumstances, are now in international institutions. This catalogue is under permanent development and will be expanded as new artworks are identified.
A team of researchers from the universities of Valladolid and Burgos is carrying out a meticulous search to locate these pieces, identify their current whereabouts and analyse the historical events that led to their departure from this Autonomous Community.
In addition, in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, a database and consultation tool has been developed to bring this valuable heritage closer to the public.
This catalogue is the starting point for the rest of the initiatives that will be implemented within the Nostra et Mundi project over the years 2025 and 2026.
